Client agrees to pay a non-refundable retainer to reserve a weekend date. The retainer is a portion of the creative fee, with the remaining session balance due at the session. If the client is unable to attend the session on the scheduled date due to illness or emergency, Photographer will work with Client to reschedule the Session if notified sufficiently in advance of the scheduled appointment time.
If Client requests for the session to be rescheduled they may do so up to 6 weeks before the scheduled session date for a weekend date and 2 weeks in advance of a scheduled weekday date. If required notice is not given or Client fails to arrive for Session without notice, a new retainer will be collected to book a date. If Client needs to reschedule more than once, Photographer will keep the retainer and a new retainer will be collected to book a date.
After making the retainer payment Client will receive the Photographer/Client Agreement and session planning will begin. The signed Agreement is due upon receipt and is required to formally book the date.
For Newborn Sessions where the retainer is collected before the baby is born, the retainer is collected to reserve space in the Photographer's calendar to ensure availability within 2 weeks of baby's birth. Once a session date is scheduled, the cancellation/rescheduling policy will apply.
